Taipan.
I have the Taipan and it is one of the grippiest mice I've ever used (top and sides are very nice finish), however it does have noticeable negative and positive accelleration which seems worse compared to my g9x. I'm not sure if I plan to keep on using it or not to be honest.

I tried it in person at a Fry's and it seemed pretty good to me. The only thing that kept me from buying it was the red backlighting. I'm looking for white backlight or maybe even the YOTD Ducky w/ MX Browns

Did you install Synapse and get a firmware update?

I have a Sensei and notice it on that mouse but not on the Taipan.

Both had Firmware updates.
