Can't access or install windows 7 after mobo change. Sabertooth 990x - Page 5

First off, thanks to everyone who stuck with me to help. Honestly OC.net is the most helpful and friendliest place I've ever seen when it comes to computer help/tips/sharing. You are all incredible, and I mean that.

As of my last post, I have exchanged the SATA cable just in case. The HD had been formatted, and I also moved my ram around. I had them in slot 1a and 1b, while it's recommended to do 1a/2a or 1b/2b. I don't know if this did anything, just a precaution. With that said, I had spent the last hour downloading another iso file, this time the most recent I could find. I skipped the cd process and moved it directly to my usb drive. I can happily say that at the moment, windows 7 is installing =] Knock on wood, don't want any errors now, but this so far is already 10x as far as I've gone before. I'll keep you all updated on the final outcome. Once again know that I really do appreciate all the help here.

Windows is installed, product key has been succesfully redeemed, am currently installing mobo drivers. Once I get everything set up I get to re download all the lovely things I didn't back up. And then once my lovely pc is back running 100% and all is stable, it's going to get pushed around a bit. Thanks everyone for your help, inb4 you see me create a new topic about pc issues soon.

Always good to see a problem like this resolved. I've been there before with the 680i chipset; went through 3 different mobos, from 3 different companies before I finally just switched to the 790i ultra (on yet another company). Each time thee error was Windows refusing to install. Very frustrating.

I'm more than happy to finally have it figured out. Everything is running! I'm still getting some of the updates taken care of and am wondering about the Bios. I'm going to make a seperate thread but I'll ask in here as well.

1. I'm connected to an HDTV using an HDMI cable. The screen resolution has been set, the Bios however, is way too large for the screen. I've read about the DGI reso, though it's at 100% and can only get bigger. Not quite sure how else I'd change this. I've also read the graphics resolution is set to the Bios, not sure how to access this however.

2. Edit: I've updated to BIOS 1304. Strange thing, after the update I had this strange screen appear after BIOS that wouldn't go away. I entered Bios set up, exited without change and then windows booted like normal. Though the Bios update screwed me but all seems to be well.
