I like Steam to some extent but I have no problem double-clicking BF3 and having Origin open at the same time or instead, just as it wont make a difference having uplay open should I ever want to play a Ubisoft game.
It's difficult to swallow the hypocrite statement. We're not talking about something deep here, we're talking about an interface that launches games. If people want to play a game despite it being on Origin/uPlay then that more than justifies them buying it in my eyes. It doesn't invalidate their opinion on Origin or Uplay.

Exactly
The best game ever could come out where the devs poured their hearth and soul and it has great graphics, gameplay, story, replay value and there would be people who would still hate it if it didn't come to steam or was on origin. This should not be the case we should care for the games not whatever delivery service is behind them. Which makes me more angry at steam for creating a delivery service in the first place.
