ACBSP.exe has stopped working?

So I was in the middle of playing Assassins Creed Brotherhood and while climbing a building the game just froze. I mean completely. No movement on the screen, no sound, no keyboard, no mouse, nothing.

After a few seconds the game screen closed and I got a message saying ACBSP.exe has stopped working. The weird thing is, i had no mouse response, no mouse cursor on the screen. I could only navigate with my keyboard, but even then it was only going through different menus, I couldnt actually select anything. The only way I was able to get back to my desktop was to manually log off my user account via ctrlalt+del and select log off user. Once logged back on all was well.

Here is a screenshot of my event viewer.

Does anyone know what it might have been?

If you are on steam then go to settings and validate files and it will recheck your exe file and if its incorrect then it will automatically fix it
