"Lethal Threat" Patriotic Themed Switch 810

Hey guys as alot of you may know I started a new build in a Switch 810. Like the title says I wanted this to be a Military/Patriotic Themed Build in Honor of all those who have served our Country Past/Present and Future. This is going to be an on going project that I mam hoping to have done by the end of October. Thanks for looking and any and all constructive criticism will be apreciated. As you will see the whole case will be done in Red,White and Blue with alil black where ever I can't paint or cover.

I will be playing alot of catch up in the next few days because I have already started to build this but had to stop because of personal issues. Now that I started up again my data hard drive decided to dye on me. And of course I didn't have a back-up of it. So I'm hoping to have at least some of the pics I have taken still on my wifes camera and some in my phone. Anyways I will be continually updating through out the next few days till I get completly caught up. Thanks for looking Guys

Ok guys I was able to find some pics on my phone. So here are some shots. Sorry if they are alil out of order. I will be taking care of the order asap. And will also be giving small reviews of every piece I use in this build.

Just a lil comparison for anyone thinking of upgrading from a Phantom 410 or other mid sized tower. This bad boy is BIG!!!

Yes it's alot bigger than the Phantom 410 if you look in the background you can barely see a Cooler Master Storm Scout. The Switch is about 1 &1/2 times the size of the scout.

Hey guys so I am going to be having alil downtime the next few weeks due to a back injury. So I figured I can take advantage and get caught up on my build log. So slowly I'll be posting pics of the process and what I think of the parts Iused till I get caught up. Here's a few pics of the very begining when it was just a stock white Switch 810 and I'll be going from there to where it is now.

Just a comparison of the diference in size from a mid tower case to this BEAST of a case.


If you like wide open spaces to work in this is the case for you. As you can see this case lends itself to just about any modification you can dream of and then some.


Just lining up my atx mobo to get a good idea of what I have to work with spacewise. And I can tell you from experince you can do alot with the amount of space this case gives.And also the placement of the cable management holes and grommets are just right for any kind of set-up you wanna make.Just in case you haven't noticed I absolutely love the amount of space NZXT gives you with the Switch 810


Just a picture of my last 2 builds "Imperial Guard" and "Black Mamba" I was watching Megamind with my kids when I named that one. Lol!! And to all my brothers and Sisters in the Phantom 410 Owners club I'm truely sorry I that I had to tear down "Imperial Guard" to get "Lethal Threat" started. I wish I could've kept both of them but the budget at the oment wouldn't allow for it. But don't fret I've got something epic for it coming up as soon as I'm done here.

Monsoon fitting are awesome! I love the way they look and are so easy to use even a caveman can hook up a set of these and not have a leak. Already had a set of Reds so all I needed was the Blues.




Primochill Primoflex 3/8" i.d. x5/8" o.d. White it is what it is. I know alot of people have had issues with this brand but I haven't had a problem yet so I happy with it.


Switech 320 Rad to match the 120 I already have. I like these not too thick to give any fit issues. But thck enough to get the job done and with the right fans theseQP's are dead quiet.



Danger Den RAD-Reservoir cylinder type internal reservoir. I like it it's nice and simple completely transperant and nice size for this case. Nough said



XSPC Raystorm CPU Block whatelse can I say. One of the best performing cpu water blocks for the socket 1155 platform. And it has the looks to go with the brawn. I got this planning on adding 2 Raystorm GPU Blocks also to match.



OCZ ZT 750 Watt 100% Modular PSU like the box says. It's just the right amount of juice for what I'm going to be running and also 80Plus Certified. And the price was great.



Cyborg V3 Mouse Mat to go with my R.A.T. 7 mouse. Was looking at a bunch of different ones but had to have this one just because it matches.



Krylon Dual spray paints for the colors. This stuff is awesoome it goes on nice and easy. And since it's a 2 in 1 paint and primer mix you get to skip one step in the process. So if you inpatient like I am you get to see the finished product alot sooner. I've seen alot of post with people saying how hard it is to paint the rubber coatings on the Switch 810 and how long it takes because you have to strip the rubber down before you can paint. I am here to say this is NOT TRUE! All you have to do is make sure the surface your painting is nice and clean and free of any oils from your hands or anyelse and spray it with something like this and it'll come out looking just fine. As you can see in with my build I went to town spraying Red and Blue all over the place and not once did I have an issue. I recomend this paint to everyone that asks me for painting advice.
