I can't make up my mind

Ok so I sold my MSI Twin Frozr II 560Ti and I am running Intel HD now. I need to get another card but I can't make up my mind with all the noise with the 660Ti just released. I'd like some reccomendations, and of course consider the case I am using as I don't think the HD bay can be moved.

Resolution 1920x1080. I would love if the card for 2 years at least, but who knows. Max budget lets say $3-400. I got $140 for my 560Ti so at least that can go towards the purchase of the new card.

I loved the 560Ti I could max my games at that resolution but I will be upgrading the pc at a later date piece by piece so I'm starting for now with the card. Whatever would be better than what I had, fits in the case, and will last me with all these new games coming out.

First thing is the maximum length of graphics card that can be supported . can your case support 11 inch cards. if it does then the Sapphire HD 7950 950 Mhz edition is a good choice. HD 7970 PCB. DUAL BIOS for aggressive overclocking. good cooler. newegg user reviews of this card are very positive.

Sapphire HD 7950 950 Mhz edition - USD 350

I couldn't find the case's card specs anywhere. But I've read online that the max card length is 11" and 3/8. I tried a google search of those that have that case, and youtube reviews but all they talk about is unboxing the case and what it comes with. I should have gotten a bigger one but I will do that next year.

Newegg has a EVGA GTX 670 for 399 plus a $30 off promo code till Aug 21.

Be hard to beat that deal since EVGA has a much better reputation that the majority of card builders.

Yeh they are sold out on the FTW version. The superclocked edition is kinda expensive and if I were spending that much I might as well get the 680. Amazon I think has the FTW 670 so I'm looking at that too.

I can't argue with the 670 FTW at all. To me, it was worth the extra over the normal version for the better PCB and cooling. Plus it easily does over 1300mhz although stock clocks are good to play everything.

At the top end of your budget, you can get a 7970, the best performer in that range. If you want to save some money, 7950 or 670. Once overclocked, they are basically equal.

So there should be no issues with all intel components and just an AMD card if I went that way. I just don't want to be like oh man I should have went with Nvidia. What is the difference between 7970 boost edition or is that the 7950 with boost? Is there marginal difference in performance for the 7970 Ghz edition. The Ghz edition seems too big though.
