For Sale:
i7 930 and P6X58D-E
Will Ship To: US48, CA
Re-opening the thread. I had decided not to sell it, but I want to see if there is any interest. I'm getting the upgrade itch. If it sells, I can use the money to upgrade to IB.
First is the i7 930. I've had it running 4.0ghz 24/7 @1.28v. I haven't really tried lowering the voltage much. I was content with stability there. Florida summers meant I wasn't going to get the temps much lower anyway.
Next is a P6X58D-E motherboard. It has a dead PCIE slot (#2). I never use it, so I never bothered to RMA. I did just get an RMA approval, though. I'd rather sell it than go through that hassle. It is under warranty until November of 2013, so if you want to do it, they go by serial number. No transfer needed.
I also have 6 gigs of that 30nm Samsung memory everyone loves. I love it, too.
I'd just rather switch to 2x4 gigs if I go 3570k.
Really only looking to sell the board and chip as a combo. $200 for those. $225 takes it all.
