Sleeping dogs Serial invalid..

Hello,

So i have just purchased sleeping dogs and for the past hour i have been trying to activate the game with steam.
it keeps telling me that my serial is invalid. i have tried all kinds of other combinations, maybe there is a typo, idk.

this is really getting frustrated now.

anyone a idea?

where did you get your key from its possible you got a non steam activatable one

Forgot to mention that i have the Retail version.

I actually haven't been able to install the game yet. after i run the setup button i click on install sleeping dogs, but first i have to submit the serial which i have to do with steam.

steam opens automatically with the installation.
