I've decided to start over with the component list for the build, and the parts will probably be ordered within the next week. I'd like to stick to newegg for this because I've bought a lot from them so far.
The max budget for this build is $800 (including a monitor). I've decided to keep it classy by skimping on the GPU and CPU a bit in exchange for peace of mind regarding a higher integrity build. (I'm building this PC for a friend who is less knowledgeable than me.)
The build list:

)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220705 - Cheap and has a cool name

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116775 - 10% faster than the 2100 which in my book is a huge plus.
I think this is a really good reliable setup. I want to do my friend's build right using a quality case and power supply rather than most builds in this price range that put all the $$ into CPU+GPU.
What do you guys think?
