[TweakTown] Nvidia's Strong-arm Tactics - How they treat GPU Partners and Media - Page 2

I wouldn't take anything TT has to say about NV seriously... they're pretty much worse than Charlie at this point.

Also are they really blaming NV for trying to stop reviews leaking out early? Really?

Here's what i learned by reading the above posts. You guys CLEARLY haven't read the article. They are NOT mad for Nvidia blocking early reviews, they are mad because they couldn't get a partnership with them, and they threatened to CUT OFF MSI mad.gif. Even though MSI isn't the one who supplied them with the early leak. Please read the article BEFORE mindlessly bashing.

We are not done yet NVIDIA. Expect us.
This sums up the entire article for me. "Expect us"? Really? Way to sound like an underage 4channer. Maybe if TT stopped whining they'd be taken more seriously, both by nVidia and the hardware community.

From one of their earlier 'articles':
Quote:
We have attempted for years to work with NVIDIA, but it hasn't worked. Some years ago we started breaking NVIDIA GEFORCE launch dates and posting our reviews early on purpose because NVIDIA would not support us properly. We didn't expect any more or less than the treatment that other media get. They would never send us review samples of new video cards. Our response was simple - you don't play nice with us, we won't play nice with you. We posted many GPU reviews well ahead of the launch time. Some will say you broke the NDA, but let's make it very clear - you have to have an NDA to begin with to break it. We haven't signed an NVIDIA NDA for a very long time. They'd have to firstly communicate with us for that to even happen.
http://www.tweaktown.com/news/23927/why_we_didn_t_have_an_nvidia_geforce_gtx_690_launch_review_at_tweaktown/index.html

TT has been doing this for a while and they're doing it out of spite. I'd say it's pretty obvious why they're not given review samples... Also since when do any of their claims have any credibility? Especially in an article like this?

Thank you for repeating what I said? Like I originally said, Nvidia's arrogance is the reason why XFX stopped making Nvidia cards.

Can you believe that Nvidia is so anti-competitive that they have to do this?

What's the worst case for us? We continue to release reviews without an NDA signed and reap the benefits that the traffic brings in and helps us grow bigger and bigger.

TweakTown, the guys who did not get a 690 to test.
