Alright guys. I'm planning a new computer build, and I'm thinking of buying 2 Nvidia cards. The 670 seems like a viable option for me, because it is going to be a workstation / gaming hybrid... The 670 handles just fine at gaming, and the extra cuda cores aren't really necessary for video rendering... So the 670's are my best choice.
However, I will eventually be running 2 2560 x 1440 monitors (in my dream setup), so I'm really thinking that 4gb of ram might be beneficial for me... The problem is that all of the 4gb 670's use the standard PCB, and those (watercooled) would look tiny in my build.
So, what I need is a 4gb 670 on the 680 PCB... And it needs to be reference, so that the EK 680 waterblock will fit on it.
I found this, but I'm not sure if it's a reference 680 size...
