what are the mousepads whit any problems together Corsair mouse ?
I own an M60 and I don't see any difference at all switching surfaces. I use a Roccat Taito mousepad and the traction is great. But same as everyone, my grip is 3/5, but when I remove the mousepad and test it on my desk it goes up to 5/5.

Just for the heck of it I went online today to look at various mouse pads, mostly at Razer and SteelSeries. I came away with the impression that textured mousepads (cloth) are better for precision and a smooth mousepads (hard) are better for speed...I did not know that.

I picked up my inexpensive OCZ mouse pad at Best Buy and it reminds me of a divers wet suit as far as texture. I'm getting about 3 out of 5 bars and the mouse seems to track well, but I'm wondering if there is a better option out there.

M60 on my razer vespula is 4/5 surface test. at sniper, low, mid dpi. have not tried max dpi. this is a quick pad with great wrist rest. using on the textured (slower) side of the pad.

textured not meaning cloth, but hard pad with some texture, compared to the ultra slick side.

Hi to all M60 and M90 users, I am also using M60 and using the software beta 2.12. Any one of you have installed the latest firmware 1.11 and software version 1.0.0.27 did you guys experienced any problem with it?

I just got my M90 and have only been using the latest software, so I can't really say it's better, but it would make sense it's better and more polished and it has been working great for me. Some people at the Corsair forum have been having issues, not with the software, but with their PCs no longer recognizing their mice. To me it almost sounds like they buggered their firmware install and bricked their mice...who knows. To be safe I would download and save the latest firmware and software...save your profiles...uninstall the current running software...restart the computer...update the firmware...install the new software...install your profiles.

Whatever I set my buttons to they don't seem to carry over to a game. For example, if I set the mouse click to G to throw a grenade in BF3, it simply doesn't do it, yet it seems to work fine when I'm surfing the net and whatnot. Contacted Corsair about this and haven't got a reply yet. Might send the mouse back and get the SteelSeries Sensei RAW.
