Safe QPI/VTT 3570k

I keep getting the 0xd1 error when trying to maximize my overclock (error code taken to mean increase QPI/VTT).

My question is this; what is the max safe level of VTT for the 3570k?

Any help would be appreciated!

I've always left it auto for my overclock and it was always quickly solved by upping my vcore. Although, if you overclock your RAM, that could be a culprit.

I'm not overclocking my RAM (like you, I don't see much value in it). I could keep upping Vcore, but there's a pretty sizable wall between 4.4 and 4.5 in regards to Vcore. Was trying to find a way around just bumping that value, as I'd like to keep VCore as low as possible, hence the wondering where the max limit was. I've also always left auto biggrin.gif

on page one of this guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/1247413/ivy-bridge-overclocking-guide-with-ln2-guide-at-the-end/0_20

VCCIO (qpi/vtt): 1.0-1.1V on air, up to 1.2V under water

theres a table that shows you the mix/max for most of the voltage settings...ive cross-referenced them with the intel spec sheet for the 3570K and they are accurate...i wouldnt go over what the table says
