Best Desktop Microphone?

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a high quality 3.5mm desktop microphone. I am currently using the Samson C01U and ASUS Xonar D1 sound card. Sadly the Samson C01U doesn't work with my sound cards AEC because its a USB microphone and not a 3.5mm connector (causes an echo w/o AEC b/c of speakers). I was using the Connectland CL-ME-606, but the microphone wasn't quite loud enough with the volume at 100% and Mic Boost enabled.

My price range is 50-120 dollars.

Thanks in advance!

I like the Blue microphones. The Snowball isn't that great, but I love the Yeti. Check it out.

Antlion modmic is interesting. It sounds like you won't have issues with it being quiet.

It sounds better than the logitech, but it's more expensive.
