Try bumping up the CPU/NB speed.

EDIT
I had a FX-6100 that will not go past 4.1ghz unless the CPU/NB speed was 2200 or higher.

yeah 77 is insane, I wouldn't keep it like that for too long haha. Im no overclock expert but I can be sure of that 77 degrees is way too high and your processor wont last too long.


But @dixson01974: Im back at 4.4ghz and idle temp is low 30's, Only on prime 95 do i get beyond 62 degrees, I play a few games on this pc and the highest temp it gets to is 49. I am never going to have all 8 cores maxed out so heat shouldnt be a problem but will definately invest on a better cooling system in the near future.
