Need new mouse! - recommendations

Thread Starter
So I have decided to buy a new mouse and I need help deciding what brand/model/etc. I am playing mostly RTS games on a hard mouse pad with my right hand. I use the fingertip grip style and prefer light mice.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance! thumb.gif

you forgot to mention most important factor, what's your budget?

Ah, I would say about $60-80?

Quite flexible.

how flexible blinksmiley.gif? http://www.amazon.com/Mouse-Indigo-Scroll-Input-Devices-Wireless/dp/B0058LLISE/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1345284423&sr=1-1 smile.gif for kicks.

I've only used Razer
http://ap.razerzone.com/gaming-mice

& Logitech
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice-pointers/mice

for the last 4+ years with zero problems and no complaints (except Razer mamba's battery life is a bit low).

good luck mate

Thanks for the suggestions, I think I may get the Razer Death Adder. For it's price it is exactly what I'm looking for.
i vouch for the deathadder. and when you can get the blackwidow keyboard by razer. its amazing.
The death adder is a great mouse on exception of its glossy plastic sides that accumulate oil/grit. My vote goes for the G500.

Razer keyboards are garbage.

I have the R.A.T. 7, however I managed to pick up a second hand Deathadder for ~$40 (even though it looked brand new), so I swap between the two of them.

The R.A.T. 7 is great for it's customisability, but for people with wide hands it can make your hands ache after several hours of intense gaming. tongue.gif

DA's are really nice, but the glossy sides and the LOD kills it for me. I prefer a low LOD myself.
If you like the shape of the DA, but want something with better LOD, I would suggest Zowie EC1 eVo. Those are great mice, track really nicely, have an extremely low LOD. The other reason why I like this mouse is because of the mouse feet. They are extremely large, and make the mouse glide with very little friction.

For $49, it's a great mouse.
