If you like the shape of the DA, but want something with better LOD, I would suggest Zowie EC1 eVo. Those are great mice, track really nicely, have an extremely low LOD. The other reason why I like this mouse is because of the mouse feet. They are extremely large, and make the mouse glide with very little friction.

For $49, it's a great mouse.

The old DA's have a lower LOD, right? Although, it's pretty much impossible to get a first gen DA anymore

. You can save money by not going razer, but, I personally love their mice and have had no issues with it. I had the Deathadder and it was a great mouse, I just got tired of it. Gave it to my GF when I got a lachesis on 1saleaday.com for $30... then I got bored of it. Bought a 2012 Mamba the other day and am really enjoying it except for the fact that it is really heavy compared to the previous mice (I wish Fry's had mice out like they do keyboards so you can feel them and "test" them out sort of.).
