Hi guys,

Just wanted to get ur opinion on jumping my d5's to drain my loop faster, it takes ages for me atm, of course ill make sure it doesn't run dry.

What u guys think?

You can do this as long as the pump is stil getting water.
As soon as it starts to get air into it you should stop.

Depends sometimes, Iv'e only got a short loop, only CPU and 2x 240mm Rads.

Longer loops might be harder to blow

Due to the nature of my loop, I just disconnect one of the res tubes, Place it in a bottle and afk for 10 minutes, I'll come back and it'll be mostly empty bar the rad on the back, but thats external so i don't nee dto worry about it.

Or you could get one these:

A simple T joiner with a bit of hose and a valve at the end in the lowest point of your loop...
Some call it a drain port

I wont recomend it, that would basicly mean that your runing the pump dry. The easyest way to drain your loop is to install a drainport at the lowest point in the loop. Also blowing into the tube should do the trick.

Sometimes I'll run my ddc for a bit but as soon as the water level on the res is low I'll stop because you do not under any circumstances want to ever run a pump dry. Then proceed to do alot of tilting and some sucking of the drain tube to get it all out. I wish I could say that 2nd part without it sounding suggestive... sigh...
