Bad artifacting when changing clock speed and voltage with Trixx on my 6950

Thread Starter
I get artifcating when changing these settings on my 6950 in Trixx, unless I'm doing it immediately after I start the computer. Is this normal? It seems to get progressively worse depending on how long I take to change it after I've started up. If I do it immediately after start up there are no problems and it stays that way.

It was pretty mild. 820 core clock to 900, 1250 memory to 1300. Max voltage I set was 1.18.

Back it down a little, maybe 20-40Mhz, see if it artifacts then, keep backing down till it doesn't artifact... Artifacting can mean that it is unstable.

I doubt it's a stability thing because when I clock it down to 600 from 820 it still does it and I've been gaming on it for over a week with no crashes. It's a non reference card.

Try reinstalling your drivers, if that don't work, then you may have a bad card
