I was getting 80c - 82c with a default fan setup on my 7970 with overclocking. With everything maxed I was getting the same FPS as you, with HD textures, so I bumped AA down a notch to hit 60fps for the most part.

When it comes to meleeing you can't spam the counter button, the others you should be able to spam to your heart's content. I think they added that delay intentionally to prevent cheesing tongue.gif
Also, regarding my post above, has anyone noticed a clear difference in visuals when turning the high res texture pack on/off?

With the HD texture pack, I saw the biggest differences in people's skin (not clothes) and cars.

For my graphic settings with everything maxed and 2560x1440, normal AA is smooth at 60 fps and barely uses any GPU, high AA makes it stay full on at 100% but still smooth and capped out at 60 but as soon as I put it to extreme AA I get shot way down to around 15-20 fps.

I didn't really notice any difference so I just leave it at high AA and everything looks great.

Anyone else have that problem where extreme AA doesn't really look different but your fps goes way down?

Same here. All settings maxed except AA is on high from extreme as I get the same issues as everyone else and I put fps limiter on 60. Gives me a steady 60fps and game runs great. The issue with extreme AA setting in game has to be driver/bug related, hopefully nvidia takes care of this with some new drivers.

Thanks so much! This worked perfectly, now my frames almost never go below 60 at max settings.

So far it's been running great for me as well. I don't have it maxed as I took motion blur off and AA down to just high. Also took ambient occlusion off.

Feels like a pretty dang good game to me so far, fighting was clunky until I realized how to make it smooth by implementing more grappling and using more of the environment instead of just fighting straight up.

The driving does get a little tedious and teh camera shake isn't as bad as what I had read on here with what some make it out to be. Could also be due to me removing motion blur though, I typically can't stand motion blur these days as I prefer nice clean crisp gfx.

The High-res pack also made a huge difference as far as all the signs go in game as well. Just seems to be a great looking game with some nice gameplay now too.

It sure does hammer my gfx cards though, runs them in the high 70's which is a rarity anymore for me to see but the good thing is it used my SLI right from the get go. thumb.gif

I gotta say it's closer to being a AAA title than most games coming out are, and it's only $50 so not bad and with some sales if you poke around you can get it for like $36. So far imo it's sweet for that price.

My settings and a Bench run.

by the way, even I already have an nvidia profile for Sleeping Dogs. The SLI bits are the same as Red Faction Armageddon. But I haven't got the game so I don't know if its correct tongue.gif

And on that account, I already have a Crysis 3 profile with the anti aliasing bits and SLI bits filled in. That creeps me out.
