Hey guys,
I need some help getting the best airflow with as little noise as possible for my 650 D case.
I currently have all the stock fans installed in there original positions, so a 200 mm fan pulling cold air from the front, 2 x 120 mm fans pulling air from
the top of the case through at H100, and a 120 mm fans exhausting the hot air at the back.
Please note that I have 2 x Gigabyte Windfore 670 GTX OC in SLI and the max temp for the top card reaches 76 C when gaming with the case closed
My priority is to first of all replace my H100 fans and maybe go for a push pull configuration if that means lowering both CPU and GPU temps since more cool air gets drawn into the case.
I was also thinking about placing a fan to blow air in between both cards so that the first card gets cooler air.
Now regarding the fans, I am leaning towards some Noctua fans, but since they are too expensive, i wont be doing any push pull config with them since
i need 4 of them and that should set me back 80 bucks.
Also, I find that my case is very dark since there are no LED's on the stock fans, so it would be preferable to replace all the stock ones with LED fans.
What do you guys recommend in that case? I could go for the Noctua fans and add cold cathode tubes for interior lighting. But what other LED fans do
you recommend?
Thanks!
