Any top end air cooler will do what you want without the noise + you'll save yourself the best part of £50 over the H100 + fans.

I can do pretty much anything @4.5ghz (2500k), be it Prime95, BF3 or whatever with two fans running at a virtually silent 1000rpm on my Alpenfohn K2. Temps in Prime peak at 71C on the hottest core, BF3 - 51C.
Ambients ranging from 23-26C.

You have a Z77 motherboard and so why bother investing in older 32nm tech that cannot fully utilize Z77 features when newer, better, more advance 22nm chips are available and available for same cost...? 3570K without question!

If a person is really into overclocking on a smaller budget and cannot afford a really good cooler then 2500k would definitely be the way to go, however he clearly shows interest in the H100 so should be able to afford nice cooling.

OP have you considered a XSPC rasa kit for just over 100 bucks?>

I find air coolers ugly tho and i want to use corsair dominator platinum and been told that some air coolers would hit them.

Sandy is 32nm

Coolers like the D14 (ugly) and the K2 (pretty) use 120mm fans at the front, so there's plenty of clearance. The stupidly tall corsair dominator platinum sticks will probably have issues though.
You could always just use normally sized or low profile ram and not notice any performance difference whatsoever smile.gif I'd go for lo-pro Samsung green personally. With a large dual tower cooler installed, you can't see the ram anyway.

Unless you're building more for looks, I think you're wasting a fair bit of money.
