Voted yes. I highly doubt there's even a single person who buys high end nVidia cards just so they can use PhysX, so rather than losing a lot of potential customers to AMD, I think they'd sell a bunch more low/mid range cards with minimal difference in high end sales.

Voted yes because it would be nice to have the option, even if there are only a few games that use Physx

If I played more games that involved PhysX, I'd probably stick my GTX 460 back in the machine.

eh-smiley.gif Thats a bizarre response to my open minded opinion and a little insulting. My personal preference didn't come into it. I like both Companies and I've used both. I happen to be using AMD at present.

Physx's is supported by 150 games and other productivity apps like drawing packages and more in the future. Some people like to future proof their technology.

Nvidia see Physx as a competitive advantage. They have it and no one else does and they have made an investment in it. They aren't likely to give it up for free. smile.gif

The word is that Nvidia approached AMD about licensing Physx for use in their cards and AMD told them to pound sand. That is why Nvidia pulled the ability to run AMD/Nvidia in one box for Physx....

This is just a rumor and I haven't been able to confirm it, although I wouldn't be surprised.
