Thats a bizarre response to my open minded opinion and a little insulting. My personal preference didn't come into it. I like both Companies and I've used both. I happen to be using AMD at present.
Physx's is supported by 150 games and other productivity apps like drawing packages and more in the future. Some people like to future proof their technology.
Nvidia see Physx as a competitive advantage. They have it and no one else does and they have made an investment in it. They aren't likely to give it up for free.
