I don't understand how people can get so butthurt about this when there's games like Assassin's Creed where you assassinate the pope.

Did the trailer air on regular TV? If so the reaction may have come from people not familiar with the game e.g. Grandma watching wheel of fortune.. Also the sight of a male beating up several females may be too graphic for some not familiar with these types of games.

I hate hearing about this more than anything. Movies have shown unspeakable violence to all sorts of people- important, young, religious, etc. A game does it and it's a big deal. These people must not have seen the "M" on the cover.

It's not even like they were innocent little old ladies sitting in a church praying. They were "killer" nuns

your clicking on a trailer for a game about "hitman" a game that is focused on murdering, which is the main theme of the game, why would any religious person even watch the trailer to begin with?
people are so hypocritical, goes to church, comes back and watches blooding killing trailer and gets offended by killer nuns...

This dang title made me think they removed the level and put in something else, but the article just explains they added to the level so as to not offend people. Honestly though it's unnecessary as the people offended over this are the same people who won't play this game anyways.

This is bull. They need to call out whatever sources they heard from that gave them a 'negative reaction' so the rest of us can go belittle them and tell them to leave us and our games alone. I doubt any players/fans who are actually going to buy the game were the source of any such negativity.

Quit bending over and put the level back to whatever it was before!
