[TH] Six Different Diablo III Characters Have Same Exact Item

.....Last month, several screenshots appeared online allegedly showing a number of duped bows on the in-game auction house. Shortly after, a group named "Team Vietnahm" claimed responsibility for it, but little details surrounding the possible dupe were available. Now, it looks like there may be more proof of duped items thanks to the recently released character profiles.

Considering if you actually put up money into the Real Money Auction House to purchase an item like this, you would not want it to be a duped item because then Battle.net might track you down and then your money is gone. This is news to serious players of Diablo III imo.

EDIT: Also considering, people put MUCH time to get just a SINGLE item such as this one, and if someone ends up duping this certain item, then people lose money literally in the RMAH. To me, this is kind of a "Beware, people are duping items" deal. Very serious when you're very serious about the game.

What's news about this is direct physical evidence of duping/hacking in Diablo III, and how much of an idiot you'd have to be to buy stuff in the RMAH because of it.

Dupe was in the game before but Blizzard patch it, leftovers?
Dupe in Asia server was serious enough that they rollback the servers. So it is not really news that dupe exist in the game.

By the way, I'm not refer to this case but the chance of coincidence can be fairly high. For example, even a one out of 100 billion chance can easily occur if the give enough times.
For example, this game total loot drop per sec on a server is insanely large, even some chance that seems insane could be dwarf in comparison. Any how coincidence happens all the time, that is how random works. Else it would be predictable.
Again I'm not taking about this case, it is just I know public perception of random and coincidence is complete wrong.

This does not count as direct physical evidence.
That said dupe and hack are in the game before, and still could be. Just pointing out this is not direct physical evidence.

I personally think if this is a dupe then it is already fixed, since only 6 item exist. If would be weird for a cheater to not exploit the heck out of it before it is fixed. Actual that only 6 item found is sort of skeptical, unless the cheater is stupid.

In this case, if the probability in the article is correct, the likelihood of a dupe is ten million billion times less likely than a 1 in 100 billion event.

I did repeatedly said that I was not referring to this case, I wrote that part because I know public perception of random and coincidence is complete wrong.
Either way, I think this is the AH lag dupe.
Which I also benefit from. I don't know how to create it, but once I sold the time for gold yet I still retain the item.
This happened close to launch(one month) when the server lag and rollback or disconnect all the time. Blizzard never remove the item, but I don't know if they deduct the gold, and or remove the buyers copy.

This just in, Diablo 3 is a broken game, more at 11...

I made money off this game so I dont really care but I knew this stuff would happen.

For the record, the chance of 6 identical items existing in the game is 1 in 11995145078237333931771825082418099583927519825344115260233180066061679774520794663713766454482995136667037560731922639515625000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000, which is roughly a googol times as many protons there are in the observable universe.

Yea, me too I only sold one item on RMAH for $30, then lost interest in the game and stop playing.
To be fair they do work hard on fixing these issue, but launching RMAH is plain stupid.
Even bank get hack form time to time, a game are usually far worse, even they are probably the best in the game industry at fixing hack (according to botters) they are still not good enough by a long shot.
