Unfortunately those PSU's are really not worth their weight in poop. The 12v rail only has 16A. I would very strongly suggest going with a better quality PSU. I know that it doesn't sound like good news, but unless you or your friend is willing to possibly buy a whole new rig because the PSU took out components, I would just set that PSU aside. In short, your PSU is the most important component of your system, bar none. If you feel comfortable enough to run that other PSU, I would suggest loads not to exceed 70% of the total wattage.
