Looking for a TV for PC gaming

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a relatively cheap TV that would be suitable for PC gaming - and I don't really know much about TV's.

It doesn't have to be an uber-TV but I'd like something that isn't a blurry mess when I whip my head around in a FPS. I know it's not going to be perfect on a TV.

Requirements:

$350-$450 aiming for not more than $425 with tax though.
38" - 42"
1080P
Relatively low input lag.
Relatively little ghosting.
No "judder" with blu-ray movies like the 2012 LG models I was just reading about have.
3+ HDMI
Compatible with a variety of wall mounts.
Maybe a DVI in might be nice but not really required I guess.
Available on Amazon.com, Newegg.com, or Best Buy in store. (I don't like waiting long for shipping.)
Not very susceptible to burn-in since it will be used with my gaming PC in my apartment as an entertainment hub more often than not, and *may* have a screen left on and forgotten for various unforeseen reasons - such as when the wifey brings home one of her girlfriends thumb.gif

I think I want 60 Hz in order to avoid the "fast forward" effect you seem to get on many 120 Hz televisions.

Anything else you think is a must in a gaming TV.

Again, not expecting the best of the best of the best within this price range... I just want something I can enjoy from a distance when I decide I'm tired of sitting up at my PC monitor and using the mouse and keyboard - something sufficient to be able to relax a bit while playing PC games with an XBOX controller.

Thanks so much!

im currently using a grundig 26inc tv that is good hade it about 4 years

only trouble i have with it is resolution it tends to hide the start button and half the taskbar if you use the standard windows7 display settings

im using an nviedia gtx 460 and iff you use the nvidea display menu you can chang it with no problem you set it to resolution you want then resize the display until it fits the screen

If you do decide to get a TV you better make sure it's not interlaced.

LCD screens don't get burn-ins.
My monitor is over 6 years old and it's usually on 24/7. The task bar is almost always shown, never hidden, and when I game or watch movies in full-screen I have yet to see the slightest indication that the task bar was there previously. It's Plasma that gets the burn-ins. Avoid those if it is a concern.

If you want the best bang for your buck, I'd look for a TV that has no speakers and use some you have laying around if you've got them. Built in TV speakers are usually bad, it's better to connect some real speakers to them and it can save you some money.
