Desk chair recommendations

Thread Starter
I recently went through two big box office chairs within one year. The first one lasted me like 3 years and was worn out, I got it from staples. The next one lasted only a month before it broke. Luckily I was able to fix it until tonight which nearly injured me. I bought it from office max and got the replacement warranty scam. I think I just get the 100 bucks back. So that means that I am getting another chair...but somewhere else.

The last two chairs had the back and the bottom all connected via the arm rests. So I won't do that anymore.

I was thinking of this chair, this brand good?

I never buy a chair unless I go and test it. I literally go to Staples, Office Max, Ikea, and even Best Buy to sit in chairs I think look comfy lol. Then I buy it online to save some cash.

I bought mine off of Craigslist. Picked it up for around 20 bucks. Works like a dream. Comfy, fake leather, etc. Like new condition. If I have to buy another, I'll be buying it from CL again.

I second the Herman Miller Aeron. What a great and simple chair.

I have the Realspace Pro Quantum Mid Back Mesh at Office Depot. It's a great investment if you want great, comfy, breathable, lots of adjustments task chair. Its listed at $319 but I got mine for $200 + $40 2 year furniture warranty. Its very similar to Aeron Miller, but inexpensive.
