Help with Catleap internals! **SOLVED**

Hi! So i got my catleap a few days ago. Had a pretty harsh back light bleed, and I wanted to take the mount off. So.... I opened it all up, took the mount off and adjusted screw etc. I put it back together, but some cable must have been unplugged. Had to adjust the cables several times before finally getting a picture from my computer. But again, now I am only getting backlight, no picture. There's a very thin flat, wide cable that is really easy to remove that kept coming out. Problem is, I think one of the tiny prongs was sheered off on one my attempts at adjusting the cables. I'm almost certain this cable is responsible for there being no picture.

Anyone know where I could get a replacement cable like that? I got the backlight bleed all fixed up, and was so excited, but now the whole damn thing doesn't work. I would really appreciate some help from someone with some expertise on the internals.

Thanks!

I was able to get into contact with Green-Sum and purchase an identical PCB and the cable to go with it. Only cost me $75.00 shipped. Decided to put the stand back on mine as I just didn;t want to risk anything.

If you had pretty harsh back light bleed, you should have attempted to contact the seller first for a possible RMA... I don't know where you can purchase those type of cables to repair your monitor...

I know... It was actually the process of taking the stand off that caused this issue though. I was going to keep it regardless of the backlight problem. The funny part is my desk mount didn't do such a great job of holding it up anyways, and the backlight fix is as easy as loosening the bezel screws and firmly "cleaning" the screen with a screen buffer. But yeah, totally should have just left it alone. mad.gif

Here's a pic of my PCB if that helps. Seems to look slightly different than all the other pcb's ive seen.

The PCB should not be much of a difference - the cable connectors should be the same as the other Korean ebay monitors or monitors using the same LG panel... just hope someone has spare parts or know where you can get the cables.

Worst case is you can contact the seller for that part.
