Increased jitter with higher sample rates?

Thread Starter
Tested on ms paint, I notice that the higher sampling rates introduced more jitter into lines/curves.
Could I have light shed on what's going on here?

Perhaps it's something to do with my hardware setup and usb controller?

Or is it intended behavior because more frequent samples = more exact pointer location?

Yes, simply put, the pointer is updating more often at a higher dynamic hz fluctuation based on movement speed.

@ 125hz, you're constantly hitting what I call a "wall" with slower movement.

So, which hz would you suggest using for fps gaming at competitive level?

Usually you would want to use 500-1000hz because of the higher response rate it gives. 125hz(8ms) is simply too slow

I agree with ownedINC. It depends highly on your setup and what you feel comfortable with.

I use 125hz because of my particular monitor. Theres no real wrong answer to this question ^^

Alright, I had something in mind like which setting would provide the most consistent tracking of all of them. That would be 125 though since it has the least amount of fluctuating? What does that "fluctuating of hz" cause to the mouse movement?
