Corsair h100 problem

Hello smile.gif
I just finish putting my new computer together. I still don't have a os on it. When I try the 3 setting on the h100 I don't hear any difference. It's like the fans don't go any faster if I have it in setting 1 or 3. Can you guy please help me?
Is the problem maybe that I don't have a os on the computer?

The fans spin up when the temp increases, so on 3 it will stay slow till the CPU gets warmer then will go faster.

^That and if you want that to stop, from the bios disable fan control for the header you have the H100 plugged in.

thank you guys biggrin.gif

one question, do I have to have it plugged in the cpu fan header and the molex plugg at the same time or can I just have it plugged into the molex plugg?

The three options set cooling performance, rather then fan speed. Basically, 1 light being 'quiet' mode, 2 being normal, and 3 being performance.

The lead that goes into the fan header is to monitor the rPm of the pump it can't be controlled by the board as the pump is run off the psu, the fans run off the controller thats built into the pump
