Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB Active for 8 hours plus

Hey guys, I accidentally deleted my partition worth 900Gb of data in total and probably more (due to the fact that I have deleted stuff before).

I found this program called remo Recover that claims that it can recover deleted partition. Its been at it for 8 hours now and my HDD is warming up, depsite being directly behind my Thor V2's front fan.

I was wondering if I should be worried by this rise in temp. I think its to be expected since the HDD has been constantly active for that long but is this normal for HDDs. Are the meant to operate under such stress?

Keep in mind, this is the original Samsung HDD drives.

That's totally fine. Hard drives are made to work for year and years under high load. When you install an OS on a HDD, it's constantly being used.

Okay. But like I said, its never been anything this vigorous. Its warm. Normally I cop a feel every now and then its completely cool, but I'll take your word for it.
