I have the same motherboard as you and you can absolutely NOT overclock with it. I tried that by a mere 200 mhz and in games I would get horrible lag spikes. I even tried unlocking 2 cores on my quad at stock settings to get 6 and that had the same result. You got the wrong MOBO for overclocking anything new, my graphics card is limited by this motherboard as well.
