Real Temp and Cpu-Z showing different clock speeds on idle (i5-3570k)

Which one do I trust here?! I just closed prime and stopped testing, and cpu-z shows 1600, while Real Temp is fluctuating between 3300-4400. I know I enabled the option that allows me to save power (i.e., it's not full voltage 100% of the time), and the voltage readings on cpu-z DID go down at the same time, but just asking because I want to save on electricity where applicable. Thanks!

Yep, I've noticed the same. None of them are a 100% accurate. I tend to trust CPUz's voltage and multiplier (but this differs with your motherboard) and I tend to rely on either 'Real Temp' or 'Core Temps' temperature values and nothing related to anything else. Hope this helped smile.gif
