Is the rubber coating the same quality as the Xai?
I recently bought a Kinzu v2, and its coating is absolutely crap compared to the Xai.

There will be up to 4-5% acceleration on clothpads

I have a Goliathus and Qck+, should I consider purchasing a hardpad like the 9HD for the Sensei RAW if I do decide to purchase it?

Also, are you positive there is no prediction? Or is there an option of turn it off?

Opps. I meant acceleration - not prediction.

Avago DIP-16 Laserstream™ Gaming Sensor

*snip*

-This architecture does not or hasn't provided 1:1 linear tracking within it's rated specification window of 150 IPS. If you are seeking accurate point A to point B movement, look else where until the manufacturer corrects the hardware or ROM.  Otherwise the accel curve is within 5% of its linear range.

Credit and logged by http://wikis.jp/interfacedevice

Explanation: 1:1 movement is shown as 100% on the graph above. With lower IPS movement, the Xai hits a small negative acceleration curve around 0.6 or 0.7 meters/s or 25 IPS. After 1meter/s or 40 IPS, the sensor goes into a wobble effect of positive acceleration above the linear range. This remains the case with newer 9800 branded mice as well. Last update 7/28/2012

the slight bit of acceleration really isn't that noticable.

It's just different as skylit said. It feels more smooth like on the zowie mice but only time will tell how long it will last

You won't feel the different in acceleration going from a softpad like the qck or goliathus so I would say no. I'm 100% sure there is no prediction and no option to turn it off

Oh, I'm not really worried about the durability, I'm more worried about the feel/grip.
The Kinzu v2 feels way too slippery(almost like anti-grip) if my hands are clean/dry.
