Why?
They seem to be in short supply everywhere.
Does anyone have access to one Brand new in Box?
I cant seem to get my hands on one...

Wow, these were in stock earlier last week at newegg and amazon. There is a M5A97 non-evo at newegg now. There are new ones on ebay.

I believe these are getting replaced by the R2.0 soon, maybe now it appears.

Check stock at Microcenter/Frys if your near one.
