Qck Mass White Edition

I live in Hong Kong, where we pay premium prices for serious gaming peripherals

I was viewing a local forum and found somebody is selling the mouse pad that's called Qck Mass White Edition for roughly $16



it doesn't seem to be the best deal of all time, but its probably as good as it gets locally, so I searched for a review and found this :

It just so happens that I also use a G500, and I heard G500 is good on plastic surfaces and not so good on cloth? (can something confirm me on this) Well this guy wasn't too unhappy using the G500 on this cloth pad it seems like.

Also, another thing is that the pad used in the review was black. This pad the guy is selling is the white edition. Will that have any impact of tracking?


Help me decide if this pad is worth it!! (please also take into account that I might be buying a CM storm scout in the future)




TL;DR : Qck Mass White Edition(mouse pad), good with a G500? and possibly with a CM storm scout?

Your G500 uses the ADNS 9500 which is not that great with cloth as it shows inconsistent acceleration all over though I'm using a similar setup. biggrin.gif The White Mass is really nice at least in the looks department and is a good mouse pad, I can vouch for it. I've used the plain Black version with a DA/XAi/MX518 and it tracked really good. The 9500 already has very low lift off, so that shouldn't bother you, albeit with the change of colours.

I say go for if it's brand new and not abused. And the video might be in mobile version of YouTube as I'm posting from my iPad. frown.gif

I know it's a nice mousepad, its just that the bold part (which I kind of knew before you mentioned it) got me worried quite a bit.

I myself have tried stretching a cloth and sticking it on a flat surface and put the G500 on it. While the mouse does glide extremely smoothly, much smoother experience than on the tiny plastic pad I got somewhere for free, it doesn't track very well. On the contrary, the plastic pad track very well even though there's noticeable friction between the pad and the feet.


Meh....it can be a really good pad, but you kind of confirmed my worries on it, cuz really, all I care about is how my mouse is going to do on it. If it doesn't do so well maybe I should just pass even though its a good deal frown.gif
