Upgrade Build Advice

Thread Starter
So my current PC is 3 years old so I figured it is time to update. My hard budget limit is £450, strictly no more and I've already hit it. I'm planning to buy the following:
Fractal Design Define R3 (£72)
Corsair TX650 V2 (£67)
Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz 8GB DDR3 (£40)
Intel 3570K (£176)
Gigabyte Z77X-D3H (£96)

To go with my (from my current build):
Asus DirectCU II GTX 560 Ti TOP
500GB 7200RPM SATA2 HDD
Asus DVD R/W Lightscribe

From dabs the parts and delivery come to more or less £450. I know the R3 is old now, but it also means I can save a bit on it and it is the USB 3.0 version. I am a fan of the styling and noise insulation too. Any improvements or issues you can see are much appreciated. Thanks!

Can't see anything to rip apart. Looks fine.

Hmm, just thinking about longevity here, but would it be worthwhile switching to the Define R4 and the TX 750 v2 instead to give me the 4 PCI-E connectors and also room for a longer card and watercooling possibilities? I worked it out at £30 more, and I know I said £450 hard limit, but if it means I can use my hardware for a few more years then I'm quite happy to spend it now I guess.

Nope. Not worth it

If you want to upgrade the PSU, go for an AX650 or X650. Gold certified and more than capable of using SLI and Crossfire

Hmm, I may still go with the TX750 V2 because I hate the Molex to PCI-E connectors from an aesthetic aspect. I do know what you mean about going to a gold rated PSU, but then I'm going up to £100+ vs £66-£80, which is a rather big jump. Also what about the R4 as a case, I've read some reviews and it does support a radiator in the front. You can also remove the top HDD bay for more airflow and longer graphics cards (though so far that's not an issue at all). It also has all 140mm fans which are a preference, I like quiet.
