Ah yes to clear things up I do not need a mouse or keyboard just pc and monitor.
My budget is 3500€ so I can rly go more all out like that.
May I ask why you picked 2x8 does it have any benefits?
Thought my choice was good 4x4 and home version os since home is capped at 16 I don't need more right?
I have to disagree with the HDD you linked though as much as I've seen the bigger you go in TB the more fail rates there is.. Wich is why I went 2x 1tb.

Using the 3770k over the 3570k will yield no extra performance in gaming,

As for the m4, it is a solid SSD. As long as you stick with crucial, samsung, intel, or OCZ drives you will be fine.
For the PSU, if you want futureproofness then get a 750w to be extra safe. You will be fine on a 600w but if you SLI and start really pushing the overclocks then a 750w would be nice insurance.
edit - this is also the motherboard I like to recommend to people. Great OC, great customer service, and just a great board in general
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128544

Think I will stick with M4 just for the reliability. Also the performance is good and fast too I read.
So you recommend evga always, you sure this is the best bet? Some good cards out there like Gygabite windforce etc your comparing to. tongue.gif
About this motherboard. Does it have the features that the T600 offer like ports for usb 3.0 and such ? I do hope this is a good case for airflow and performance.
What is the difference exactly with the one your recommending and mine as in whats on it?

Let's see:

1: I like your MB better. ASRock... it might be personal, but I wouldn't go with it. (The MSI has a PS/2 port, which is a must for some gamers)
2: Edit: 2x8GB is better than 4x4GB, being able to upgrade in the future, and not having all the slots full stresses the CPU less.
3: 2x1TB HDD's? RAID them up! 0 or 1, that's your call!

Grab yourself 7200rpms... not 5400.

Monitor? For gaming you want something around 24", and 1080, or maybe 1200 if you're a 16:10 type of guy (:
Here to help,
Artur.

Thx for the help, yeah I think I'll go with a 680, I mean if this is not powerfull enough I can SLI this and have same or even a tad better performance than the 690 and its cheaper this way. Anyways thats what I read.
And forgive me as in monitors I'm really a total idiot. Know practically nothing, got my monitor 60hz 720p at the moment but it's very old from Samsung.
So yeah high time for an upgrade now thats why I'm picky about monitor aswell since I want it to last long too with the awesomness the latest monitors have to offer. when I bought my monitor I think it was a solid choice at the time. 1080P is the minimum I'll go. But whats this 1200 16:10, whats the difference it's still 1920x1080/1200 no? Heck I might even go 2560x1400/1600 but I only use 1 monitor and some say it's not so good to go such a high resolution on a let's say 24 inch screen. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes the mobo I have has been recommend by a few.. But someone linked this mobo => ASRock Z77 Pro4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. This has way higher review ratings on Newegg. Damnit I'm confused what mobo to get now. x)
As for ram, apparently gaming only really needs 8gb ram. The only reason I went 16 is because I might do some light videoediting and also because I always, always have so many tabs open on internet, music open, so many things are open on my computer at once and I want it to handle that so just to be sure I went 16.
As for HDD, clueless, I've read about RAID no idea what it is. Some people don't like it some do. Help! frown.gif

dont get a 680, get a 670 and overclock it if you really want that 5% increase.

in a nutshell, raid 0 is adding 2 drives making them 1, raid 1 is copying one drive to another. all the other raids i dont know about.

go for WD Caviar Black! also, SLI isn't worthless, it'll extend the life of your system exponentially if you're like me and need everything to be at 1080p at 60fps at all times. I'm still running dual 480s and the only games i cant fully max out are Witcher 2 and Max Payne 3 (less video memory). As for the RAM, you only really need 8, 16 is for status and people that run virtual machines.thumb.gif

the only real difference is the amount of CUDA cores. you could get a 670 and overclock to 680, OR you could overclock a 680 to EVEN FASTER.

Thanks for clearing up that raid stuff. Is it hard to do that when putting your computer together? Or is it somewhere you have to click in doftware of your computer?
Now about the gpu, 670 oc'ed is it? OC'ing makes the products lifespan shorter doesn't it? Isn't this dangerous when planning to use for long term use?
And 5% seems silly but I just want good fps in demanding games.

I have to disagree here. Adding more sticks adds stress to the cpu memory controller, limiting cpu overclocks. Also, whether you run 2 sticks or 4 sticks, the memory is still dual channel, so 4 sticks yields no bandwidth increase at all over 2 sticks.

And please don't put your storage drives in RAID 0. That is dumb. It doubles your chances of data loss for a completely unnecessary speed boost.
