I'm tired of seeing this in this thread. GTA IV was one of the first "proper" games to use the RAGE engine. Red Dead Redemption was the second (although it wasn't released on PC) look how well that runs and the graphics quality, especially the water. Max Payne 3 was the last game R* made that ran on the RAGE engine and look how well that runs on PC. If you can run MP3 then you should have no problem running GTA V unless they rushed the PC version, and if they did that there would be a patch within the first month that fixes it.

That's a little out of left field, there. The GTAV requirements will be higher. Different kind of game. Free roam and open world, which means draw distance has more meaning, as well as render distance and detail distance.

You should still have no problem running GTA V if you can run MP3

I disagree. MP3 was a very closed game, usually not much was rendered on screen keeping the FPS up there. At least not to the level of a whole city in the background.

I hope this isn't going to be another unoptimized piece of garbage like the last one was.

I wouldn't mind if they rushed the PC version and released it simultaneously with the consoles, as long as It has graphical settings like GTA4 or better I'm contempt, they'll just be major performance issues like the GTA 4 release which will ruin it but If they patch It soon I'm happy, I hate waiting 2+ months after for a PC version, that means you have to fork out more money when the PC version gets released and If you want it on PC if you haven't already got the console version.

Yup I hope it comes out for PC the same time with console. I like playing GTA on PC, more comfortable with the controls.

I'll definitely be getting V for both PC and PS3.
