212 EVO with only one fan, which direction?

I bought my little brother a CM 212 EVO, but I'm wondering which side to place th included fan. The cooler itself stands vertical, so I either attach it to the right (so it stands the same as the ram) or left. Case is a cm storm enforcer.

Also, while installing, the base of the cooler shifted a little to the right/left because my screws didn't align correctly at the first try. Is this bad? It's pretty much impossible to screw them all very quickly and perfect the moment the thermal paste enters the cpu.

fan should be blowing towards the exhaust (or pointed to the back of the case). so it should go [rear exhaust] [heatsink] [<---fan blowing this way].

The side with the shiny CM sticker is the intake side. so put the side with the plastic pieces that holds the shroud together next to the heatsink.

just like that bro. as far as the thermal paste is concerned, just put a BB gun pellet sized drop on the CPU, then mount the cooler. it's okay if you wiggle it around to get perfect. as long as you don't remove it completely, then put it back on using the SAME thermal paste.

Ok, I installed it.

Everything works perfect. I went to the bios though, and it said motherboard 31 but cpu 42C frown.gif
It raised a bit up, but it ended up stable at 44c.

Ofcourse, it's warm atm. It's like 30c in my country, but that still seems like a lot. Could the motherboard be wrong?
