Hello ladies & gents of the overclock community!

So, I've been wanting to upgrade my PC for a long long time! And i'm finally going to do it.
I have a £1000 budget, and I want it to be able to play BF3 high quality and to record it.
I'm going to do sli and use an intel base.
I have a case, here's some of the stuff my friend has picked for me :
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMPSU-750AXUK-Professional-Series-Supply/dp/B003QP417E/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1345479222&sr=1-1

I also have a case pre-selected.

Thanks guys! Please help me select parts for my rig!biggrin.gif

I only see the PSU and for any modern bf3 slayer thats overkill.

1k Build .. here you go. http://www.scan.co.uk/savedbasket/9975281e2ec640449c277fd9b4cef4e2

I wanted to put the AX650 in but its not on scan anymore. So I put the 750 in. 650Watt is enough for 670s SLI on that CPU. Price difference between the 650 and 750 is tiny anyway.

Sorry there is two cases in that it was in my basket already. Go for the corsair!

And I missed the HDD off. How flexible is that budget?

What case did you have in mind initially?

I sent Nos here for the build, as I'm not too fond into intel systems.

His idea on the case is to go with this: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/thermaltake-chaser-mk-i-black-gaming-case-usb-30-hdd-docking-station-and-side-window-w-o-psu.

Adding that case, and a very probable ssd (i picked a 128gb crucial m4) his finished price, delivered, would be into the £1135 zone. A bit over his budget, but let's see what he says.

I think, if he goes for a bit cheaper case, and he switches from the h100 to a good air cooler, he could be quite close to his 1000 pound ideal price.
