Here are a couple of pics. I hope they went through. I did them as an attachment. Anyway, just a plain ol' case with a few redneck mods like the RAM fan. I did put the 6670 card in. What a difference! I never realized how critical a good graphics card is, and I'm still in the "cheap" end of the spectrum. I'm still not able to get to 420. Seems to be hung at 419. Doesn't make any sense. I've changed everything I know to change with the same results...reboot at stock settings. I'm gettin' burnt out, so I'm gonna lay off for awhile. Think I'll research some case fans. I work at a glass shop so I'm thinking about opening up the side with some plexi. Think I'll put two 120's in, one blowin' in and one out. The whirlwind effect works really well on my other system. Don't know about lights. I've got my other system all lit up like a christmas tree, but I think I'll keep this one low key. Not meaning to change the subject, but what are you majoring in? My daughter is getting ready to start pre-med. Gonna' be a doctor. Did you know you were dealing with an old man? I turned 52 last 7/21. Oh well, don't feel old and can still work circles around any of you young bucks!

Hey MintMouse! Didn't realize you were still "tuned in"! Been conversing with MattMatt, a youngster from Australia. Anyway, I may try setting the RAM at all 6's. But I'm actually quite happy with the speed of this thing as it stands now. Not to mention it ran all day on Prime 95. I didn't realize you can't just "x" out, so it was still up and running when I got in. Better to burn in the Arctic 5, I guess. Why is it that my "Ice Q" 4670 is giving me a Windows Experience Index of 6.9 and the XFX HD6670 is only at 6.7? From what I've understood this card is supposed to be a lot better than the HIS. And on that note, I've also not seen a bit of difference in my CPU rating. Still at 7.2 even after bumping the thing from 2.33 to almost 3.0. My graphics and gaming took a huge leap, though. I was only at 4.8 before. Would it make any difference if I OC'd the card a bit?

I'll check back here later, seeing as i'm at college. I'm just college and the polytechnic right now, I'm waiting on my CCNA 1 certificate (sigh, i don't see how it takes so long) and I'm just finishing my cert III in Information Technology. I might (and probably will be) doing my cert IV in it next year also which includes my CCNA 2.

Anyway, I should go before a techer gets here..
I'm meant to be planning a stage diagram of a "Black Couch Session" which includes setting up some K12's and SM58's and such. I'll also be miking a drumkit.. oh the joy tongue.gif

EDIT: Good job with the copper(?) wire, looks pretty custom biggrin.gif
But this might be a bit nicer? It'd be alot quieter and you could probably transfer it to another rig if you don't end up needing it smile.gif

You might want to do some cable management, otherwise it looks pretty nice. I must have missed that you had a custom cooler? What is it, it looks pretty decent smile.gif

P.S I'm no youngster tongue.gif
