You could hold out for an Overlord monitor. They are due out next month. 1440p@60hz for $320. US company, Chinese built monitors. They are also coming out with a 1440p@120hz version in a few months supposed to be under 500 bucks.

May just do that seeing has I don't have the money right now. Was even thinking of getting an overdraft for the Achieva. I'm gonna research these now and see what there all about.

I am in the same boat. I was ready to order a Catleap on ebay when I found out about them. A 27" IPS from an american company sounds better than sorting through a bunch of engrish ebay listings. The best part from me is they are just across the river and they allow local pick up!

Lol at the engrish ebay listings. So what I have done now is cancelled my Achieva Shimian order and I am going to wait for the more expensive Overlord Tempest X270ME although still not too sure if I'll need all the inputs as I have a 32" HDTV already for my xbox etc . I think it's gonna be worth the wait smile.gif
