Laptop mouse recommendation?

Thread Starter
Hey all,

Just bought a laptop for college and looking for a solid laptop mouse to use with it. I will also be playing Dota and CS GO at times so the mouse should be semi-decent for gaming too! Thanks

I assume using a mouse you will have a surface to use it on, so why not just get a full size, wireless gaming mouse.

I love my deathadder, maybe you'll like it too?

I usually dont recommend Razer products on exception of the DeathAdder and for laptop gaming the Orochi.

I just bought a Logitech G500 and a nice solid mouse pad, Works great for me. I prefer Logitech over anything Razer. I got the mouse on sale. It works great for me, I never really liked wireless mice.

Most people who i've heard say they don't like wireless mice haven't used one in the past few years, just out of curiosity when did you last use one?

I last used one about 2 months ago. My old laptop mouse was wireless, hated it allot. I tried to get a new one for my new laptop and same thing lag, so I returned it for my G500. I don’t like having to mess with batteries, that and I just don’t like the feel of any of the wireless mice. I much prefer my G9X and G500. I have also owned several Razer mice, 4 out of 5 broke. 1 Copperhead and 4 Deathadders, the copperhead still works and it has been abused by my little cousin for the last 3 or 4 years. . . . I also had a Rat3 and Rat9, the sensors where funky on both. My bass would cause my mouse to jump all over the screen no matter what the settings.

I use a Logitech G9x and it's killer. I know wireless mice are the "thing" when you think of a laptop, but the little USB thingy that sticks out as the receiver is more prone to breaking off in my experience.

The onboard sensitivity controls are a huge plus with whatever task needs doing. tongue.gif On top of that, there are two grip body styles that can be changed and a few little weights that can be added/changed around to fit your "feel". It comes with four 4-gram and four 7-gram weights and they fit in a little compartment inside the mouse. I have all four 7-gram weights in mine so it's crazy heavy. I like it that way. tongue.gif

I have a Logitech Perfomance mouse MX. Best mouse I've ever had. I need a BIG mouse to keep my hand and wrist from hurting, and this thing is huge and has a nice ergonomic slant. Very comfortable to use.
