Hi guys,
I am thinking of putting 2 7300GT into SLI in my mobo ASUS M2N4-SLI with an Athlon 3200+.
Problem is: I have never done SLI before.
Any advices or suggestions are welcome.
just teach me.........

I wouldn't advise SLI with those cards (i haven't even heard of them). If you were to SLI anything i'd recommend 2x 7600GT's or higher. Although if you already have them or own one card already then it's upto you dude.

What is the problem with these cards? They just work fine and they support SLI.
What about the 7600GS?

IT's much better in my opinion to buy one single card at the same cost of a pair of 7300's....

Well considering the 7300GT has a stock 350Mhz GPU Core were as the 7600GT has a 560Mhz Core that's quite a difference in overall performance. Seriously i wouldn't bother with 7300GT's for SLI

And Chozart view is the wiser one anyway...

Sorry guys I left out the "Sonic" part. My cards are 7300GT sonic. core speed is 500MHz and 256MB DDR3
Does these things change anything?

And something else: Cards are not mine. And I am not planing to buy them. I have got them handy and want to try building My First SLI. Just curious of that. Just want to try.

Unless you already have one card or are planning on running high resolutions (which I kinda doubt considering you're considering SLi'ing 7300's) get a better single card.

OK lets make it like this:
I have only 2 7300GT sonic cards and I can't get any better card. I am taking the risk of trying this, its not a problem for me. I am not paying for anything.

Now I just want to know if it needs any special drivers or any thing else. can u help me please?

Hello mate. Since you already have them you maight as well use them.
To make a SLI just plug them both on the mobo, connect the SLI bridge (a short wide connector) between the cards. Afer doing that just boot, enter in the bios and see if there are any settings for the PCIe lanes (something like 1x 16 lanes or 2x8 lanes). If there is such a setting choose the 2x8 lines to share the PCIe lanes for the both cards (find more on this in the mobo manual). After that boot into WIN and a screen should appear saying the nVidia driver has detected a second card and it will ask you weather you want to enable SLI. The rest is obvious. You need no aditional drivers, but of course, getting the latest drivers (95.xx) would give the best overall performance and compatibility in SLI mode.
