Well i'm considering rebuilding the sig rig into something with a bit more oomph (enough to max out my 460's till i get a 670 or 7xx)
Most of my rig is decent enough to not warrant upgrading (PSU, memory, gfx, hdd/ssd)
I have an Intel SSD that I will use as main OS and an Antec 620 to cool the i5 up to maybe a 4.2-4.4 OC.
i5 3570k for about $300 NZD

I'm not too sure about the motherboard but im inclined either towards the asrock z77 extreme4 or a gigabyte variant (z77-d3h?) I'd rather not go over $500NZD too much
Here's a list of z77 boards avaliable between $150-300
I also have a chance to go to HK at the end of the year and pick up a 670 or 680 to possibly replace my 460's (Which I also got from HK two years ago
)
I do this only because the price of gfx cards is ridiculous in NZ ($900-1000 for a 680 and $800 for a 670). I don't think this is as necessary as the CPU though since these 460's still hold up relatively well although I'd like the be able to get 80fps minimum on most games to max out my CRT@100Hz
I'm still unsure whether to hold out till next generation/price cuts but I've been holding out and looking from afar at the performance increase on the blue side for a while now
I guess the deciding factor would be if I get subpar performance on GW2 that comes out this Sat.
Oh and it's highly unlikely I'd be able to sell any of my current gear, trying to sell used computer parts in NZ is an uphill battle unless its currentish generation.
It's like trying to give an opened, un-touched packet of beef jerky. Nobody will touch the stuff even if its fine to eat....
