However... I would like to see them hit with something hard enough to make them seriously reconsider each lawsuit they file in the future, and the way they work.
They say being the underdog is beneficial in a way that the underdog is always striving to better the guy above him. Maybe Apple has been at the top of the game a bit too long.

LOL, they had no problem breaking up the Bells, or Standard oil or any other company, bottom line, breaking up apple or even heavily smacking it around. Good idea. I have never seen a patent troll this viscious in my lifetime. I here that good old Thomas Edson was a pretty big patent troll in his day

The patents have already been named. All but one or two have never been used in court.

I really don't know what you're trying to convey here. Democracies have traditionally failed (off-topic, I know), but is Google run like a democracy? I somehow doubt it.

Um? Apple don't have as much services as google so you end up using google anyway. Also I've monitored the Data that is sent to google and its nothing more than you would usually give. Facebook is much worse with you information than google. Google also have opt out options that stops you from sending info from your android phone. Apple uses google search.

Except apple got busted for same thing, and google has an opt out feature with sharing your information. Haha nice try.

My phone is twice as fast as the new Crapple phone at half the cost. I dont care if they give Kim Jong il my info at those prices. biggrin.gif

Hmm, I hope this will have consequences for Apple. I am sick and tired of this company ruining the market.

I've never been on the "It's cool to hate Apple bandwagon." Never.

However, after Friday's Judgement against Samsung, I'm absolutely disgusted, not only with Apple but the US Patent system. And I mean disgusted.

For a company that has brought so much innovation to the market, and had to fight against the evil Empire of Microsoft in the 90's, you'd think they'd have positioned themselves to embrace innovation and competition from other manufacturers. And yet, they haven't. I also have a strange feeling that Apple is pulling the strings on AT&T, forcing AT&T to lock down the bootloader on the HTC One X.

It's nice Google has stepped in, but in my opinion, it's too little too late. They should have stepped in two years ago. Now it's going to be an uphill battle and in the end, it's consumers that suffer because of all of this bureaucratic nonsense.

I couldn't have said it any better myself.

I do hope you're wrong though on Google finally stepping up being a "little too late", because Google is our only hope.
