I don't agree/disagree with it's placement here, simply I disagree with the judgement practically every poster before me has had on this subject...Truth be told, I know the vast majority of these on ebay are scams and shouldn't be there...That still doesn't make them any less legitimate for those seeking them.
Your mother's advice was right in this situation, if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.

I dont care to argue with you masked.. Id have a better conversation talking to no one.

Fact is you woudlnt know who was trust worthy or not unless you knew them.

Most peope won't know who they are buying from and thats the truth.

The Risk outweighs the benefit, that is all.

I still do not understand how you brought religion into all this.

The problem with you is you pick apart what people say, use one or two parts to your advantage and completely blow right past everything else. The only constant with you is that you discredit others by jumping on grammer like some teachers pet.

So then it is Settled, We all agree that this was the correct action to remove these potentially Bogus items from eBay for the Sake of the masses.

Honestly: you'd be surprised. In my 20's I had a roommate in Houston that went on into his dad's business: a "healing" shop. They actually made a good living off of selling nonsense to people. The day I saw him charge a little old lady and her daughter $200 to sit and hold her hands and pray before giving her a talisman (she, the little old lady, had cancer) is the day I asked him to move out. Wasn't fun and games anymore, like his card readings were--he could actually read tells somehow and be very accurate, people usually left very happy.

Lot of people looking for a "solution" in this world, brother.

Cau Chin is rather famous for this in Houston.

Not to play sides here, but...for the record: Your random capitalization, lack of apostrophes, and unnecessary number of paragraphs are actually quite distracting - and does take away from your perceived credibility. Such things are indicative of scams.

People buy all sorts of crap from Telemarketing etc. Back in the days where these "faiths" started, people were being ripped off left and right as WELL.
Agian, please remember, there have been MANY people who make a killing of selling Tonics made of Arsenic to people before modern medicine. And many of those people will invoke anything, God's Gift to Man, Gods Water, Holy This etc. PLenty of Example if you look for them

Nobody said a thing about religion, huh? So, it's okay for you to breach the subject and yet, nobody else after you can then comment on it because, apparently, nobody but you is qualified to do so? God's water clearly isn't religious...Holy anything CLEARLY isn't religious...I mean what's the disconnect here? If you're going to mention something in your rant, it's fair game...So again, I only brought religion into this discussion because you did, first. If you don't like it...Go play in a different sandbox because clearly, you're the expert on religion as well.

Most people don't know what they're buying and I absolutely agree but, that doesn't make it any less legitimate for those that seek these practices.

If you were a known apothecary with a stellar reputation...Absolutely, I'd buy from you over the internet...I'm not talking about an ebay rating...I'm talking about this thing that real people use, they're known as references. References qualify you as legitimate or illegitimate...If you're going to purchase these goods without researching, you deserve what you get.

I don't completely agree that removing them was the right idea. Removing the scams, yes...But, there were/are some legitimate practices that use ebay to survive and now their market just got halved...So, there is a real issue with this decision and it's one that should be noted.

I don't discredit anybody that hasn't already discredited themselves, see above for that one rolleyes.gif

im also not trying to be an authority here, this all started with a very simple comment on my end that as always, is abused and blown out of proportion. Dude was flippin out about persecuting peoples religious beliefs and all he can do is say I type poorly.

Guess it sux that you got distracted man, but I flat out type what I type and quickly, and rarely look back to make corrections.

People who make a habit of trolling me for it simply remind me of the definition of insanity.

So out of all this I wonder how much money has been made over the business of not Substance sales, like hexes and Curses. Since these items are not physical items, or are these in relation to Magic talismans, or something along those lines?

Just seems odd to me ya know?

Masked, When I mentioned the Scammers using words like Gods tonic etc, that was A WHOLE PAGE After you had brought religion and beliefs into this.

You proved that you dont actually read what people say, just skim through until you find something to argue.

so again, I still dont know how YOU brought religion into this, I simply made the comment that especially in the old days of the US, Pioneers often Scammed people into Tonics and Health Potions which were often made of Poisons, popularly including Arsenic, and that many of these were utilizing key words that religious people might buy into.

^ this statement was Against you and your flipping out on someone earlier about Religious beliefs. So please stop taking everything out of context.
