Overclock 7900GS - Need advice!

Thread Starter
I just bought a 7900GS the other day I want to overclock like everything else! But im not sure about 7900s. What are safe temps for this overclocked gfx card at full load? Im going to to a 3dMark test later today and I will post the score, hopefully one of you guys could tell me if its good or not and whether I can overclock it good etc...

Thanks

Please fill out your system specs It will make it easier for us to help you. Thank you

I don't know too much about that specific card, so I'll leave this one to the nVidia boys.

Ok I just benchmarked my pc. I've overclocked my Cpu from 1.8Ghz to 2.3Ghz, temps are 28c idle 34c load. I tweaked with rivatuner a little because ive never used and I increased core from 450to 470 and memory from 660 to 680. idle temp is 37/8 workload is 46c. I got 3596 for these settings and 861 for my cpu. what can you tell me from the stats. Is this good? How much further can I go?

I'm running sli 7900gs's and my core temp reaches 81 celcius under load. this is clocked at 580/795

you got a long way to go, and im sure mine could go a bit higher in each clock too! your safe for miles buddy.

You should be able to get your 7900GS to around 580-590 on the Core while staying around 80 C. Mine can reach up to 615 on the core but the temps at full load are in the mid 80's.
